To support lacrosse in Southern Pennsylvania by providing an association of Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and US Lacrosse certified officials for PIAA and youth lacrosse games in the region.

The South Penn Lacrosse Officials Association (SPLOA) to works with the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) in PIAA District III to provide officials for PIAA lacrosse games for the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA). The SPLOA's members comprise the South Penn Chapter of PIAA Boys Lacrosse Officials, which has jurisdiction over all PIAA lacrosse games played in the YAIAA league.

The SPLOA works with the York County Lacrosse Association (YCLA) to provide officials for YCLA member club youth lacrosse games (U9, U11, U13 and U15) in York and Adams counties in Pennsylvania.

2011-2012 Recruiting Effort Underway

The SPLOA has opened registration for 2011-2012 and a big recruiting effort is underway. The association is working hard to ensure full coverage for all games it will cover in 2011 and is looking for quality officials. Anyone who would like to officiate with SPLOA can register by mail, or in person at any SPLOA meeting, exam date or training session.
