The 2008-2009 SPLOA calendar runs from 07/01/2008 through 06/30/2009. The calendar contains a number of association and mandatory in-season meetings as well as training sessions for the NFHS exam.

The locations listed below are referenced in the schedule. The use of these facilities is greatly appreciated by all members of the SPLOA.

The SPLOA holds several meetings a year which address the operations of the association. Each of these meetings is optional, but highly recommended, for all officials.

SPLOA officals must attend seven meetings during the 2008-2009 spring lacrosse season. The SPLOA has scheduled the following eight meetings. Each official must attend at least seven meetings during the season. The Rules Intepretation & 2009 Rules Changes meeting is mandatory for all officials and must be one of the seven meetings attended.

The SPLOA has an open relationship with the Central Pennsylvania Lacrosse Officials Association (CPLOA). If you cannot attend all your meetings with the SPLOA, you can receive credit for attending CPLOA meetings, which are typically scheduled in Lancaster and Harrisburg.

The NFHS Exam Prep Sessions prepare officials to take the NFHS exam. New officials who have not passed the NFHS exam are required to attend one of the following sessions. The SPLOA's PIAA District 3 Officials Representative will administer the exam to all PIAA officals. The SPLOA will administer the exam to all non-PIAA officials. Each session includes two class dates and an exam date.

The Outdoor Training Sessions teach on-field mechanics. New officials are required to attend one each of CLASS 1, CLASS 2 and CLASS 3 prior to their first season. Officials can choose to split their classes between sessions provided they attend one each of CLASS 1, CLASS 2 and CLASS 3.
